Spoon Time Contest Rules

Open to residents of Canada (excluding Quebec) over the age of majority in their province or territory of residence, except employees, representatives, and agents of SkipTheDishes Restaurant Services Inc. (“SkipTheDishes”, “us”, “we”, etc.) or its affiliates.
Contest starts February 10, 2020 and ends at 3:00 p.m. Winnipeg time on February 13, 2020 (the “Contest Period”).
To enter, start by finding the Twitter post that we’ve made that refers to this contest and these rules. The post will include a hashtag that must be used to enter this contest (the “Hashtag”). Retweet the post and reply using the Hashtag. Each retweet posted during the Contest Period in compliance with these requirements and the rest of these rules constitutes an “Entry”.
Entries must not be submitted in a manner that would abuse or violate the Twitter terms of use (for example, submitting a large volume of entries in a short amount of time), as determined by SkipTheDishes in its sole discretion.
On February 14, 2020 (the “Draw Date”), at our offices in Winnipeg, we will randomly select one (1) Entry from among all Entries (the “Selected Entry”). We will contact the person who submitted the Selected Entry through the social media service through which they entered and ask them to contact us to (i) solve a mathematical skill-testing question, and (ii) confirm the identity of their SkipTheDishes account. If that Entrant provides a correct answer to the mathematical skill-testing question and confirms the identity of their SkipTheDishes account within a reasonable period of time after we have contacted them (as determined by us), that Entrant will be declared a winner.
The winner will receive one (1) prize consisting of $500 in Skip Credits. Skip Credits are subject to additional terms as set out in Part III, section 3 of our Terms of Service (www.skipthedishes.com/terms-of-service). The winner must have a SkipTheDishes account to claim the prize. SkipTheDishes accounts can be created for free at www.skipthedishes.com. Prizes cannot be transferred or substituted except as allowed by SkipTheDishes. Chances of winning depend on the number of Entries received. Limit one (1) prize per Entrant.
Entries must be submitted from your own personal social media account account, must be publicly viewable (not private), and must stay up until the Draw Date specified above. Entries may not violate the Skip Social Code (www.skipthedishes.com/social-code), nor contain any content that is offensive, illegal, infringing, or otherwise listed in clauses 6(d)(i)(A) through (J) of the General Terms section of our Terms of Service. Entries are governed by our Terms of Service and constitute User Content submitted to the Skip Platform for the purposes of those terms. By entering, you grant SkipTheDishes a licence to use your Entry pursuant to the terms set out in our Terms of Service.
SkipTheDishes and its affiliates (the “Skip Group”) are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunctions of any internet connection, computer systems, networks, servers, software, hardware, or traffic congestion on the internet or at any website. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a winner, the winning Entry will be deemed to have been made by the authorized holder of the social media account through which the Entry was submitted. You are responsible for ensuring that any social media account through which you submit an Entry remains active until the winner is declared, and that it is capable of receiving @replies or direct messages from us.
By entering, you represent to SkipTheDishes that you meet the eligibility criteria, and you agree to these rules and our Terms of Service. THE SKIPTHEDISHES TERMS INCLUDE PROVISIONS THAT LIMIT OUR LIABILITY AND REQUIRE THAT ANY DISPUTE BETWEEN US BE RESOLVED BY WAY OF ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT BY CLASS PROCEEDING OR OTHER COURT PROCESS. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT THOSE TERMS APPLY TO THIS CONTEST TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW.
We reserve the right to disqualify any entrant for fraudulent behaviour, violating the terms of use of the social media platform through which they submitted an Entry, or for otherwise violating these rules or our Terms of Service. Automated Entries are prohibited, and we reserve the right to void them. This contest is governed by the laws of Manitoba, and the federal laws of Canada that apply in Manitoba. We reserve the right to cancel, suspend, or change this contest at our sole discretion.
