 Skip’s Olympic Games Giveaway Terms and Conditions
 (the “Terms and Conditions”):

  1. This contest is open only to merchants listed on the Skip Platform with a valid restaurant agreement that was signed before the start date of the contest. Entering restaurants must be sole proprietorships, partnerships, or corporations who are resident in Canada (excluding residents of Quebec). Entrants must not be employees, representatives, or agents of SkipTheDishes Restaurant Services Inc. (“SkipTheDishes”, “us”, “we”, etc.) or its affiliates and may not reside with or be immediate family members of any of the aforementioned parties. The entrant will be deemed to be the legal contracting entity identified in the valid restaurant/merchant agreement respecting the applicable restaurant/merchant with SkipTheDishes.

  2. The contest starts on January 21, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on January 31, 2022 (the “Contest Period”).

  3.  Maximum one (1) Entry (as defined below) per eligible entrant. To enter, start by finding the social media asset that we’ve published in our restaurant blog at https://secretsauce.skipthedishes.com/2022/01/olympic-games-giveaway/ that refers to this contest and these rules (the “Blog Post”). Share the social media asset on your restaurant’s Instagram page. You must follow the instructions in the Blog Post, tag @skipthedishes, and include the hashtags mentioned in the Blog Post.  Each social media post posted during the Contest Period in compliance with these requirements and the rest of these rules constitutes an “Entry”.

  4. Entries must not be submitted in a manner that would abuse or violate the relevant social media platform’s terms of use, as determined by SkipTheDishes in its sole discretion. If an entrant submits more than one (1) Entry in violation of these rules, we reserve the right to invalidate all of the entrant’s Entries, or all Entries other than one, as we determine in our sole discretion.

  5. On February 1, 2022 (the “Draw Date”), we will randomly select five (5) Entries from among all Entries (the “Selected Entry”). We will contact the entrant who submitted each Selected Entry (each a “Selected Entrant”) through the social media service through which they entered or through the contact details provided by the Selected Entrant for the purpose of administering the Selected Entrant’s restaurant/merchant account (as we may determine in our sole discretion) and ask them to contact us to (i) solve a mathematical skill-testing question, and (ii) confirm the delivery instructions for the Prize. Each Selected Entrant who provides a correct answer to the mathematical skill-testing question and provides the delivery instructions that we require to deliver the Prize, within a reasonable period of time after we have contacted them (as determined by us),will be declared a winner. If any Selected Entrant does not provide a correct answer to the skill-testing question or the delivery information within the time limit, we will void their Selected Entry and re-draw an Entry, repeating this process as needed until we have declared five (5) winners.

  6. Each winner will receive one (1) prize package consisting of an official autographed Olympics merchandise from each of our partner athletes and an official Lululemon Team Canada 22 Down Jacket  with an approximate retail value of $500. Prizes cannot be transferred or substituted except as allowed by SkipTheDishes. Chances of winning depend on the number of Entries received. Limit one (1) prize per entrant.

  7. Entries must be submitted from the restaurant/merchant’s official social media account, must be publicly viewable (not private), and must stay up until the Draw Date specified above. Entries may not violate the Skip Social Code, nor contain any content that is offensive, illegal, infringing, or otherwise listed in clauses 6(d)(i)(A) through (J) of the General Terms section of our Terms of Service. Entries are governed by our Terms of Service and constitute User Content submitted to the Skip Platform for the purposes of those terms. By entering, you grant SkipTheDishes a licence to use your Entry pursuant to the terms set out in our Terms of Service.

  8. SkipTheDishes and its affiliates (“JET”) are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunctions of any internet connection, computer systems, networks, servers, software, hardware, or traffic congestion on the internet or at any website. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a winner, the winning Entry will be deemed to have been made by the authorized holder of the social media account through which the Entry was submitted. You are responsible for ensuring that any social media account through which you submit an Entry remains active until the winner is declared, and that it is capable of receiving @replies or direct messages from us.

  9. By entering, you represent to SkipTheDishes that you meet the eligibility criteria, and you agree to these rules and our Terms of Service. THE SKIPTHEDISHES TERMS INCLUDE  PROVISIONS THAT LIMIT OUR LIABILITY AND REQUIRE THAT ANY DISPUTE BETWEEN US BE RESOLVED BY WAY OF ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT BY CLASS PROCEEDING OR OTHER COURT PROCESS. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT THE SKIPTHEDISHES TERMS APPLY TO THIS CONTEST TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW.

  10.  We reserve the right to disqualify any entrant for fraudulent behaviour, violating the terms of use of the social media platform through which they submitted an Entry, or for otherwise violating these rules or our Terms of Service. Automated Entries are prohibited, and we reserve the right to void them. This contest is governed by the laws of Manitoba, and the federal laws of Canada that apply in Manitoba. We reserve the right to cancel, suspend, or change this contest at our sole discretion.

This contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or any other other social media service on which it is promoted, and you completely release all such social media services from all claims based on, relating to, or arising from this contest and any other liability whatsoever in connection with this contest.
